With the conclusion of the VIC and National series I feel it's been a really good season for me. Racing with and against friends, supporting friends and photographing them in other grades. I loved seeing my Girlfriend Ariella race a few times in her debut season too. My second season and I decided to jump into B grade for the VIC series and M2 for the NCXS series when I raced nationals. It's been a really enjoyable season. I left my only crash to the last race (yesterday) and felt like I improved a lot. I'm looking forward to working on a few things in the off season and be ready to take on 2019.
As well as my racing improving, I felt like on the most part my photography has improved too. CX is fun to shoot and there are so many elements to consider. After my racing in the morning on both days at Round 8 and 9 of the NCXS at FOJ (MELGP) I got the new camera out and shot the Women's and Men's Elite races. I really enjoyed seeing some new interstate and international riders as well as the local favourites.
