Film Shoot

I rarely take photos for other people, I used to do a bunch of paid work back in my car days but it sucked the fun out of it.

This was a bit different, Blake asked if he could give me a roll of film and one afternoon after the racing we go and shoot a cycling kit for Kitwatch.

  • One subject, Blake on his bike in a cycling kit he was reviewing.
  • One roll of Kodak Portra 400 in my Nikon F60 with 50mm f1.8 lens
  • One hour (approx) of last light around some streets in Abbotsford.

We rode around and hit a safe spot to do the standard shots required, keep in mind we had 36 shots and no way of knowing if they came out or not until we got them developed after about 20 mins I was happy that we got what we needed and could burn the rest of the film trying a few more fun shots. It was a risk but I was happy with how they came out.
